ABSTRACTS (2018 - 2019)
Through writing, and through a collection of minimalist abstract paintings, this collection entitled Folded, becomes both written and visual poetry. Layers of paint, at once expressive, delicate and controlled - are metaphors for emotion, duality and balance. Abstract works explore line and texture in various mediums including Watercolour, Ink, Acrylic and Oils, ranging in size, on Paper and raw canvas, in a minimalist style and colour palette.
Folded was an exhibition from April 2019 at Fringe Gallery in London Ontario, with some pieces later travelling to Toronto Ontario for a September 2019 exhibition Blush, at Steam Whistle Brewery.
